Returns, Cancellations & Refunds Policy

At CCTreats Cake Studio, every order is thoughtfully prepared with care. Due to the nature of our freshly baked and personalised products, the following terms apply.

1. Returns & Refunds

We do not accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind on perishable products that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, or personalised products that qualify for an exemption under UK consumer law.

This includes qualifying freshly prepared cakes, baked treats and bespoke edible creations.

This does not affect your statutory rights if an item is faulty, damaged or not as described.

2. Order Cancellations

Cancellation requests may be submitted within 15 minutes of placing your order. Please contact us as soon as possible.

After this period, cancellation requests for products exempt from the statutory cancellation right will be considered at our discretion. Once preparation has begun, we are generally unable to accommodate cancellations or changes.

The 15-minute window does not restrict any statutory cancellation rights that apply to your purchase.

3. Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Orders

We take great care in preparing and packaging our products.

If your order arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery, where possible, providing your order number and photographs of the issue.

We will review your concerns and offer an appropriate resolution in accordance with your statutory consumer rights, which may include a refund or replacement.

4. Non-Returnable Products

The following products are generally non-returnable for change of mind where the relevant legal exemption applies:

• Freshly prepared cakes and perishable baked goods.

• Bespoke or personalised cakes and edible gifts.

• Other products liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.

5. Statutory Cancellation Rights

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, eligible online purchases may be cancelled within 14 days of receiving the goods.

Where this right applies, you must notify us within the cancellation period and return the goods within a further 14 days. We will refund eligible payments, including standard delivery charges where applicable, within the timeframe required by law.

Products that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, and goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised, are exempt from this statutory cancellation right.
